As a mounted shooter I know that you are constently looking for ways to improve and become better. Most competitive people are. Hopefully this drill from World Chamption Kenda Lenseigne will help you on the pasth to greatness. It was published in Western Shooting Horse Magazine in 2013 (this magazine has since changed it's name to Western Horse and Gun). This is a drill that I come back to time and time again. It's simple and has lots of great elements for both you and your horse. Hopefully you find it helpful. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment below.

This week I am doing a review of Hay Chix slow feeder hay nets. There are a lot of options for slow feeders out there and it pays to do your research. After lots of my own research I came across Hay Chix. I have been very satisfied with their product. My next purchase is probably going to be a net that fits over a small bale so that my other horses can use the hay net too. It will cut down on the hay that they waste and should keep their pins a bit cleaner. The other product I need to purchase will be the wall mounted feeder, but that might have to wait until the spring. For now, the cinch net is working great for my mounted shooting horse. She was a bit frustrated the first few times she used it. Now that she is used to it, she has no problem figuring out the best way to get the hay out. I think it also helps her be more occupied during the day, especially now that she is no longer on pasture. In short, I love my Hay Chix slow feeder net. I can't wait to get a few more! If you want to get your own Hay Chix hay net, use the link below to get 20% off of your order. http://go.referralcandy.com/share/5WMX5NT Hello Mounted Shooters! I need your help.
