What do you get a Mounted Shooter for Christmas?  While everyone has different needs, here are a few of my favorite things.  Hopefully this helps you find that special someone (or yourself) the perfect gift.

Pink 12 Gauge to 45 LC adapters from Lonesome Pine Shooting Supply.  These pink adapters are all aluminum. The manufacturing, laser engraving, and distribution have been donated, meaning 100% of your purchase is put towards Cancer research.  These are at the top of my Christmas list this year.

A pair of custom Kenda Lenseigne, low rise chinks from Sierra Custom Leather.  Let your imagination run wild with choices! From metallic, to hair on hide acid wash, to exotic animal print. The only limit is your imagination.  Plus the long fringe is a stunner when you are running fast!

Slow feeder hay nets from the Hay Chix. Your horse is an athlete, so why no treat them like one? Nutrition and proper feeding all contribute to a happy, healthy horse.  Slow feeders mimic a more natural eating style for horses, thus improving the health of your equine partner.  I really appreciate how easy these are to use and how durable they are. My shooting horse loves her net, check out my review here.

A pair of Rockford sunglasses from Smith Optics. They look Bad Ass and come in a variety of colors. The nose pads are engineered with two-position adjustability, providing a personal fit and designed to specifically not to pull or catch your hair.  I’ve been wearing Smith Sunglasses for years and have never been disappointed. I prefer the polarized lenses for the sun protetion and visual clarity. They cost a little more but are worth it! Their customer service is also top notch as well!

The Hired Gun Horsemanship Course Book is a must have.  It explains how to run each course, how to make the hard shots, and how to set up your lines.  You can get it in a hard copy or a digital version.  I have the digital version and I keep it on my phone so I have one less thing to remember to bring to a shoot.  It’s even a great reference for experienced riders as it’s hard to remember all those patterns!

Shooter Chick Cinches from Rockwell Saddles. Matt and Marianne Rockwell make some amazing cinches that are 100% Mohair.  Mohair is light, durable & has wicking properties that carry moisture and sweat away from your horse, giving your horse a more comfortable and enjoyable ride.  They can be made in a variety of colors as well.  I’m thinking hot pink and purple would look great on my husband’s saddle.

A Glam & Grit hat.  From mild to wild, Glam & Grit has an array of painted cowboy hats to choose from.  Whether you use your own hat or one of theirs, you are sure to get an amazing piece of art.

A pair of Ruger Vaqueros in stainless steel.  This is my go to gun for mounted shooting.  They are tough, reliable, and accurate. I prefer stainless steel because it resists corrosion from the black powder we use in Mounted Shooting.

Cowgirl Relics offers some amazing western jewelry that speaks to the cowgirl in all of us. It’s a perfect mixture of rustic and feminine.  Each piece is hand crafted with lots of love and attention to detail.  Born out of true passion, you won’t be disappointed with any piece from Cowgirl Relics.
